You can see from the cork lying in front of the wine bottle in the first picture, that the bottom of the candle fits inside a standard wine bottle almost 1/2". We recommend that you set the wine bottle where there will be the least amount of air circulation on a lipped plate, insert the candle and light. There will be minor drip due to the diameter of the candle. If you don’t want the wax remaining on the bottle, just let it completely cool when the candle is blown out, and remove with your finger. This wax will pop right off and not harm the label.

And just like real corks, the candle color will vary from off white to a dark brown. Some may be dual colored.

Other cork candles only burn for 2 hours each! Their set of 4 burns for 8 hours - our set of 4 burns for a minimum of 20 hours! You would need to purchase 2 1/2 sets of theirs for the same burn time as ours. A minimum $7.00 savings! Great value!
